Admission to Ishikawa International Students House
1. Eligibility Criteria
Only those students who fulfill all the requirements below will be eligible for the admission.
- Be a foreign student with "foreign student" resident status who is studying at a university or institute of higher education in the prefecture at one's own expenses.
- Have satisfactory grades and apply themselves diligently to their studies.
- Have an understanding of international exchange and can live in a communal environment.
- Are in satisfactory health.
- Have a recommendation from their University's rector.
2. Period of Stay
The period of time that one is studying at a university, the maximum period of time being two years from the date of admission.
3. Application for Admission
Those who wish to enter Ishikawa International Students House must submit a “Request for Admission” form, a letter of recommendation, an application form, a statement of academic record and a health certificate. However, for those acknowledged as being in a situation where it is difficult to provide a statement of academic record may be exempt from providing this certification.
After the selection process those who have been granted admission to Ishikawa International Students House will be sent a "Permission for Admission" form.
