Ishikawa International Students House is located 2km to the east of Kenrokuen Garden (which is in the center of Kanazawa) and 2km to the west of Kanazawa University’s Kakuma Campus. It is a 1-minute walk from Wakamatsu Bus Stop, about 20 minutes by Hokutetsu Bus from the JR Kanazawa Station.

In recent years, as part of various city planning schemes, this area has been designated as "Kanazawa Mori-no-Sato" and with its large scale shops and high-rise housing is a newly developed city center. Ishikawa International Students House is within close proximity to the faculty of Medicine and Engineering of Kanazawa University's Kakuma campus, as well as Kanazawa College of Art, Kanazawa Seiryo University, Hokuriku University and Kanazawa Gakuin University, creating an ideal environment for study and research.
