Japanese Classes at IFIE


The Japanese language is indispensable for foreigners living in Japan. IFIE offers Japanese classes to foreign nationals living in the Prefecture as well as in the Hokuriku area who wish to improve their Japanese language abilities. The Scheduled Class is divided into 7 levels, and the Private Class is provided with specifically designed curriculums fit to the individual.

Placement Test
The Test will check your Japanese language ability and place you in the class best fit your language skills. (Scheduled Class Only)
Free Trial Lesson
One free trial lesson per each level is offered for you to get a feeling of what the class is like before you officially register with the class. (Scheduled Class Only)
Easy Application Process
You only need to bring your passport/alien registration card and tuition at the time of submitting your application. If you should have any questions, please feel free to ask us at any time!

Private Class
  1. Class Detail
    Individual/Group lessons gear towards an individual’s level and objectives. You can choose the days (except Sundays) and time of the class best fit your personal schedule.

  2. Number of Students
    1-on-1 lesson, or groups of 2～4 students in one class.
    ＊Note: We do NOT arrange groups for students; please make your own group.

  3. Tuition
    Lessons may not be scheduled as requested. For other hours please inquire with the staff members.
    ＊Note: Fees cannot be refunded when a cancellation is made on the day of the lesson.

  4. Application Procedure
    ・Fill out an application form
    ・Present a form of ID
    （Passport/Alien Registration Card)
    ・Pay tuition for the first class
    		About 1 week

Intensive Course
  1. Course Detail
    Students will study 3 hours a day between Mon – Fri (not on weekends or national holidays). Study can commence any day of the week.

    3 hours × 5 days = 15 hours / week

  2. Number of Students
    1-on-1 lesson, or groups of 2～4 students in one class.

  3. Tuition
    ☆For Classes over 3 hours ＋\2,400／hr（Individual）
    ＋\3,000／hr（Group）
    ＊Note: Fees cannot be refunded when a cancellation is made on the day of the lesson.

  4. Application Procedure
    ・Fill out an application form
    ・Present a form of ID (Passport/Alien Registration Card)
    ・Pay a Deposit (\10,000)
    		About 1 Week
