ホームステイについて

　ホームステイでは、日本語にほんごや日本文化にほんぶんかだけでなく、日本にほんの本当ほんとうの生活せいかつもべんきょうできます。それは、あなたにとってすばらしい経験けいけんです。ホストファミリーとなかよくなり、プログラムが終おわったあともよい関係かんけいがつづきます。あなたの「第二だいにの家族かぞく」となるかもしれません。

　ただ、ホームステイでは文化ぶんかのちがいから問題もんだいも起おこります。おたがいの小ちいさな誤解ごかいは大おおきな問題もんだいを起おこします。それは、あなたにとてつらい経験けいけんです。ホームステイでは、文化ぶんかのちがいを尊重そんちょうしてください。きっとあなたのホームステイは楽たのしいものになります。石川県に来る前いしかわけん　　く　　まえにこの「Homestay Guide」を読よんで、ホームステイを楽たのしみましょう。

ホストファミリーについて

・リファーレ（日本語にほんごをべんきょうするビル）まで通学つうがくがおおよそ1時間以内じかんいないの家族かぞく

・石川県金沢市いしかわけんかなざわしだけでなく、となりの野々市市ののいちし、白山市はくさんし、小松市こまつし、能美市のみし、かほく市しなどのホストファミリーもいます

・ホストファミリーはやさしくて、ウェルカムな人ひとです

・ホームステイの家いえで、あなたがべんきょうができるように、部屋へやに机つくえを準備じゅんびしてくれています

・休みの日やす　ひには、自分じぶんででかけてもよいです。または、ホストファミリーと相談そうだんしていっしょにでかけてもよいです

ホームステイがはじまるまで

1、IFIEのスタッフが、さんかする人ひとのアプリケーションフォーム（プロフィール）をみて、ほすっとファミリーを決きめます

2、事前じぜんにホストファミリーの情報じょうほう（住所じゅうしょ、連絡先れんらくさき、家族構成かぞくこうせい、ホストファミリーからの要望ようぼうなど）をグループの担当者たんとうしゃを通つうじてお知しらせします

3、来日らいにちしてホームステイがはじまるまで、メールなどで連絡れんらくをとる人ひともいます（連絡れんらくをしない人ひともいます）

4、プログラム初日しょにちの対面式たいめんしきで、ホストファミリーは参加者さんかしゃをリファーレ（日本語授業にほんごじゅぎょうをするビル）まで迎むかえに来きます、その後あと、一緒いっしょにホームステイの家いえに帰かえります

スタッフのサポートについて

ホームステイで、もし問題もんだいがあるときは、石川県国際交流協会いしかわけんこくさいこうりゅうきょうかい（IFIE）のスタッフに相談そうだんすることができます。ホストファミリーとうまくこうりゅうできない、生活せいかつのちがいに困こまっている、日本語にほんごではなすことがはずかしいなど、心配しんぱいなことがあるときは、すぐにスタッフに相談そうだんしてください。

IFIEのスタッフは、文化ぶんかたいけんにいっしょに行きます。また、土曜日どようびや日曜日にちようびをつかった石川県いしかわけんの旅行りょこうにもいっしょに行いきます。お昼ひるごはんはどの店みせがおいしいの？本屋ほんやはどこにあるの？財布さいふをなくしてしまったけれどもどうしたらいいの？など、いつでも、なんでも、質問しつもんしてください。

もしも病気びょうきになったら？もしも災害さいがいにあったら？もしも生活せいかつで困こまったことがあったら？

About Homestay

Homestays are a great opportunity to learn Japanese language and culture while experiencing what it’s really like to live in a Japanese household. Your relationship with your host family can last a lifetime. Host families often become a second family for exchange students.

Homestays can also involve clashes between different cultures. Small misunderstandings can lead to negative experiences for everyone involved, but with mutual respect for cultural differences, your homestay can be a very rewarding and meaningful experience.

To make the most of your time here, please read through this homestay guide prior to your arrival in Ishikawa.

About the host family

・ Host family that goes to Referre (Building for Japanese Language Classes) is within about 1 hour.

・ Host family is in Kanazawa city, Ishikawa prefecture. There are also host families in Nonoichi city, Hakusan city, Komatsu city Komatsu city Komatsu city Komatsu city Komatsu city, Nomi city, and Kahoku city.

・ Host family is kind and welcoming.

・ In order to be able to study during the homestay, they will prepare a desk in the room for you.

・ On the day off, you can go outside by yourself,  or go out with the host family. 

Until the homestay begins

1．The staff of IFIE will decide your Host family after looking at the application form (Profile) of the participants 

2. We will let you know the information about the host family (address, contact details, family structure, requests from host families, etc.) in advance through the person in charge of the group

3. You can e-mail to your host family until the start of the homestay. (Some people don't contact.)

4. On the first day of the program, the host family will pick you up to refare (Building for Japanese Language Classes) and then you will go back to the home together with your host.

Staff support

If you have any problems during your homestay, you can talk with the staff of Ishikawa International Association (IFIE). If you have any concerns, such as being unable to exchange with your host family, having trouble with your homestay life, or being embarrassed to do things in Japanese, please talk with our staff. The staff of IFIE will go to the cultural activities with you. We will also go on Saturday and Sunday trips to Ishikawa Prefecture with you. Which restaurant serves good lunch? Where is the bookstore? What should I do if I lost my wallet? etc, Please ask us anytime.
