交通 Transportation
It is convenient to use airport in Tokyo(Narita airport/Haneda airport), Osaka(Kansai international airport), and Nagoya(Centrair airport) as a way to come to Kanazawa from overseas. Because Komatsu(In Ishikawa prefecture) airport has direst flights of internationals to Shanghai, Taipei, and Seoul only.

北鉄バスチケットセンター Hokutetsu bus center
In Kanazawa it is convenient to use Hokutetsu bus to move. Hokutetsy Bus is sometimes used in IJSP homestay, or when you go to cultural activites. Ica card is the prepaid card of the Hokutetsu. It is convenient to have it in Kanazawa. You can not use Suica, and Ikoca(this is also prepaid card).
